Achievement Title: Captain – granted at the completion of the quest ‘Landing Party’ (after your ship has been stolen).
Achievement Title: Sergeant – granted at the completion of the first story line quest for Trooper.
OK, in fact its like this. Only Achievement Title that counts for Ord Mantell (planet) CODEX entries is Mantellian wich is gained by both Trooper and Smuggler.
Now, there are two other titles for each, Trooper and Smuggler that are achieved on Ord Mantell that counts for general CODEX entries Achievements: Titles.
Those are gained automatically at the start and at the end of campaign.
For Smuggler its:
Captain – You granted yourself the title of captain at the start of your career. It makes you seem more experienced and helps those jobs roll in.
Outlaw – You earned this title when you discovered that Rogun the Butcher had put a price on your head on Ord Mantell.
For Trooper its:
Sergeant – You earned this rank prior to your
assignment to join Havoc Squad in their fight against the separatist uprising on Ord Mantell.
Lieutenant – You were promoted to th rank of lieutenant for your courageous actions in preventig the detonation of a stolen Republic orbital strike bomb by separatist forces on Ord Mantell.

Game Rules – Smuggler is also picked up here, at the completion of the mission ‘Legitimate Business’.

Once you are up the rocks go to X:-26 Y:81 to get the codex. You will see a nice view of the lava flow below!
Location is not missing. Lava Flow Overlook is not a CODEX achievement!
It is Legacy Achievement. Please make a difference between those two.
Being a Jedi Sage I went to Ord Mantell at level 50 to complete the codex and found several that are not possible to complete because I’m not a trooper or smuggler, they are:
Separatist Movement
Kel Dor
Mon Calamari
Cathar
Split by Rebellion
Ruled by Corruption
Underworld Influences
I was just about to post that “Split by Rebellion” was inaccessable to Jedi Knights or Consulars. Three years later and this page hasn’t been updated with any new info?
Yeah, I’m a Level 50 Jedi Guardian and can’t access these as well and it’s triggering me and my OCD
I thought the codex entries would be different for each class to account for the class specif entries. Otherwise noone can ever complete the codex.
like my trooper only has to get 2 persons of note, to complete his codex for that category. the only ones my trooper need are the two specis entries. Kel dor, and Mon Calamari.
Good luck with those two cause they are buged at the moment.
Finnished it with both Trooper and Smuggler. Got all Ord Mantell CODEX entries except those two Species entries, Kel Dor and Mon Calamari. Hope SWTOR gonna do something about it.

The ‘Republic Military Ranks’ lore is located at this junction. 126,10 It is a flag next to a bridge inside of Fort Garnick

231, -41 This is for ‘Refugees of War’. It is a sign post in ground between two tents.
This page needs to be expanded with items necessary for achievements. The Gapillion Grazer can be found at 601, -515. The Razoronn can be found on the beach next to the Red Matrix Shard.
