Got the Aim datacron by simply jumping up the black cliffs behind it.
Just for the heck of it, after using the lift, I tried scaling the rocks up and found the route, too. That’ll be handy when my Jedi makes it to Alderaan.
I could not fit through the crack in the door to get the datacron in Castle Panteer. My char is body type 3. It would be extremely silly if that prevents me from getting a datacron.
Had a Type 2 body go through the crack. I agroed a mob and died. They rezzed me on the other side.
Body type 3 and I cannot get through the crack. Tried all suggestions of “c” screen, jumping, force speed, wiggling angles etc. I Put in bug request

I have type 3 and got it today. Autorun use right mouse button to steer into corner. Then spam jump and p. You will lag in through the crack, I had to adjust the camera view over head to get in.
Spamming P and Jump worked took a few tries, but it works.
what is spam jumpming?
P key by default binds to abilities panel. So by running towards the opening and spamming either clicking on the abilities panel open and closed or hitting p repeatedly, it makes your character glitch past the crack.

I am sage, i got Rescue at lvl 42, i can pull from the second level to the people on the ground and get around the problem of having to big of a body type.
The sage needs to stand on the railing, and the person that needs to get up , jumps up on the statue(and continues to jump), as it’s +31 meters on the ground and you need to be with in 30 for it to work.
The aim + 4 datacron seems to be somewhat bugged for now. Anybody else ?
Are you using the English client?
I am natively on the German client and it did not work for me at first. When I switched to the English game client (via settings menu) I could come past the message “Aim +4” and the game returned properly.
NB: Switching to the English client involves downloading the language specific videos and assets, which are IIRC about 5 GiB to download.
you do not need the MGGS you can climb over the rocks to the left and jump up the ladder save yourself 10k creds
the mmgs is needed to get the +10 to all stats datacron on the republic fleet which requires more than 1 person to retrieve
Yes, you definately must buy MGGS there since it is involved in getting two other datacrons
I can verify that you can jump up the rocks behind the Aim +4. After the first jump, it is best to be walking (Num Pad /).
Some quick notes on the datacrons listed above! READ ME, you will save credits. This is current as of 12.23.11.
First (+aim datacron) – The lift does work, quite well in fact.
Second (Presence +3) – Also completely accurate, very close to “Thul Research Camp Thranta.”
Third (Willpower) – Fat guys can fit through the hole. =) All depends on the angle you take it at.
FOURTH (STRENGTH DATACRON!) – *Do not* waste the 8k on a MGGS from the vendor south of Tarlarn Outpost (1869, 1091). Once you see the dam, approach it from the right hand side and jump on the rocks that intersect. You can mount and make the jump to hit the dam, then there is a ladder you can jump up to get the Datacron. Side note – if you are dodging level 40-41 mobs, you’ve gone too far, turn around.
Fifth (Endurance Datacron) – Bring a friend.
That isnt true, i tried every fucking angle, and i cant get in. Show a video, and ill belive it, or else i wont.
YEAH YOU CAN! a friend of mine had the BIG body type male had no problems getting in at all. apparently he is NOT handicapped.
Some body types simply can’t get through. It has nothing to do with the angle. Luckily, because I am a Sith Warrior, I was able to use Force Charge against someone in a duel to get through, despite my body size. Another method is to be killed at the doorway, and have someone on the other side revive you.
You will need the MGGS for at least one datacron on Corellia.
I can also verify that you can reach the Aim +4 datacron without using the trolley. I simply jumped the rocks on my hoverbike.

Thier is a red Datacron on the Lerantha Dam. General area 2020,-2095 its on the face of the dam on a ledge. Damn if I could get to it though I tried all around it and just could’nt get up it. Leave a coment if you can help out with this one.

if looking at the island in the direction that the cables run down you go to the left side of the island there are some rocks that look as if they are steps. These can be used to jump up to the island, if you dont want to take the cable car. you need to be good at jumping.
The datacron for Willpower added me 4 points instead of your mentioned 3.
The MGGS was 10k for me
The Additional Information for the Endurance datacron needs to indicate that you must be at least close to level 40 or bring a friend who is in order to get this one. I stealthed my 31 assasin all the way into the cave only to discover 2 lvl 40 killick bosses spawned *directly* in front of the spot where you need to blow the wall. Basically a lot of effort for nothing.
actually as a lvl 33 assassin i stealthed to it…send in Kem and have have them engage those 2, use the pack and then vanish…move in and grab the item.
agreed… I’m level 35 consular. stealthed my way all the way in by myself. used blackout to get by the killiks at the cron wall. once that wore off they started attacking. just plant the detonator or whatever it is, let them kill you. wait for a med probe and walk on through. piece of cake.
I also was able to get it as a level 36 jedi sentinel. You can avoid all the heroic mobs to the cave entrance. I was then able to use force camo and one death to get back to the blast pack. Send in kira, blow the wall, force camo and walk back to it.
Oh, and if you try this alone you might want to buy 2 Red Detonite Actuators… having to go back to buy another if something goes wrong would be no fun.
I can’t get into that cracked door on Alderaan either. I’m body type 3 (second from biggest) and have a top not. I’ve tried again and again (I use my mouse to steer). My friend went through w/o a problem. I’m pretty sure this is bugged.

with the willpower datacron in Panteer castle and those with the large body type i managed to get through as a sith warrior, i had a smaller person go through and duelled them and used my force charge ability to go through the wall and door crack.
**Note**
the blast for the red detonite will kill you so back up after activating the pack.

Start at X:484 Y:1801 and head around the top of the wall till you can see the DC on the left, then simply head up to it. Done.
I’m guessing the Endurance +3 is Imperial only?

With the +3 Willpower I couldnt get through with any of the above ways. but this worked for me (much the same as already posted)
Run against the crack and start press C & P & SPACE (all three at the same time as quick as possible)
I got through in a few seconds with that method.

But what did work was to dei at the door, then press /stuck and get the one inside to rez you.
Confirmed as well. I tried everything and this worked. C+P+space repeatedly. The two windows and the jump while on autorun worked.

If you are struggling to get the willpower datacron, find a sith assassin with body type 2, they can pull you up.
There is a banner they will have to jump down to and pull you up. It takes two seperate pulls. They drop twice down to the first pull (duel then pull) and then they run back up to the first part of flag banner and repeat. After that you can just jump over ledge and run to datacron. Pics below.

This works for everyone, just make sure to tip the puller ;).
Confirmed. C+P+SPACE super fast repeatedly while auto-running worked for me. You basically have to do it as fast as possible over and over and over.

If you buy the MGGS, you can use it later on to get the +10 to all stats on the Fleet. I’m Imperial, so only know the location of that one.
It’s also unique, but not bound to you, so you “should” be able to pass it on to others. Unconfirmed though.
The MGGS item can be given to other players. Confirmed.

Ok, problem solved. the vendor is located outside of outpost tarlarn (X 1867; Y 204)
Lain-Ricie at (1869, 1091) in the Juran Mountains can be reached by Republic players – I was able to on my jedi Consular, no problem.
On the AIm+3 datacron, you can get up on the island from the lake, if you fall off the lift or miss the jump.
If you are standing under the lift cable, go around to your left, and you will find a narrow ramp/ledge of rock that leads up. Just walk up the ramp and jump up each level until you are on the island.
It wasn’t hard at all, but be careful there is an Elite Probe Droid wandering around in the water who will attack you if he sees you.
If you cant get through the crack for Castle Panteer but you have a jump ability, duel someone smaller on the other side of the crack and jump into it. Worked like a charm

Additional information: For those BIG FRAMED CHARACTERS having problems walking threw the cracked door. I found while pushing forward + tapping jump + “C” for character screen it kind of lagged me threw the door. NOTE: Dismissing my companion made this 10x easier.

Can confirm this as well! But for me, it worked better if you’re facing the door, not the crack itself. Tried it against the crack for 5 mins with no luck, tried facing the door itself and got in with just 2 attempts!

Confirmed, also turn off stealth might help.
I’ve tried just about everything to get through the door. I jumped+forward+C faceing door and facing crack. Tried to do it from standing, sitting and introspection positions… Even had someone else stand on edge of second floor and was going to try to force leap which is to high to work. I am the second largest character and so far nothing has worked.
Okay… I figured it out for all you guys that are to big for Willpower +3 and nothing works for you, this will work for you but you toget through the door but you need someone else on the other side of door… do a duel and do a force leap… will get you on the otherside of door. Guess you need to be a Jedi to do this unless other classes have force leap.
is it possible to get to the strength datacron if you are a lvl 33 jedi sentinal without going through the thurl camp.

IMPORTANT: To get alderaan +3 willpower one with a big body frame, I got a friend with a pull ability and slim body to go up, and i stood on the statue in the middle and jumped, then got pulled up. It works 😀

A little thing you can do to get past the crack in the door if your character is to big, is to get a friend(who can get past it) who has grappling ability or if you have charge, just duel him, charge him or get pulled and zaazam you are past that little bug. Dunno if this will work for everyone but atleast it worked for me and my friends:)
You don’t need the lift for the Alderaan Aim datacron. You can get to it by jumping up on the small island from location X: 1127 Y: 84 Z: 166 Heading: approx SSE. From the water jump up on the small ledge and then another ledge, and a third jump from where you can walk over to the datacron. The third jump is the hardest but it is possible. All jumps with sprint on.

Regarding the Alderaan Willpower DC at Castle Panteer and the infamous crack in the door: We got a Body Type 3 Vanguard through by stuffed a skinny person in, dueling, and the VG using his charge Storm.
Then we got a BT3 Commando up in the lobby by dueling and having that VG Harpoon him up off the center statue. There is a little ledge over the railing next to a fallen statue, the VG stood there.
So there are ways…

I got the willpower by pressing forward while adding + C for character + M for map – seems overloading your system DOES work! Just face the wall and keep pressing space, C + M!

i also just used this method as a type 3 body type and it took a few trys but it does work as of 2/2/2012
Couldn’t get Castle Panteer datacron as type 3 body. Had my type 2 friend go in – we dueled and I used Force Leap on him to get through.
The Aim +4 datacron can be got without the use of the lift, by jumping up the rear of the island on which it is situated. Saves time waiting, and you can retry as many times as you want without falling off. 🙂
MGGS is needed for +10 datacron and it does not bind so you can mail it to alts, so no reason to be cheap and not buy it now, If you want a jump challenge atleast it save you a trip back to that vendor once you get to lvl 50.

The aim+4 datacron, i tried that one today and missed the lift, i managed to jump up onto the island from the left hand side (as you look down from lift) took some doing but i managed it, figured id post just in case you get fed up of missing the lift 🙂
The datacron at Lerantha Dam appears to be bugged as of 02/1/2012. The MGGS fails to correctly place you on the ledge, and instead respawns you where you first activated it without letting you use the datacron.
I’ve tried using the MGGS from a variety of angles, fully exiting and rebooting the client, force-reloading my UI, all to no avail. Guess I wasted 10,000 credits.
Not bugged for me 3/12/12. I was getting the same respawning effect until I got up close to the dam and then used the MGGS. I did not need to jump off any line either.
Soemthing important not mentioned here about the endurance datacron in the heroic cave. I managed to get back there by runnign past the mobs, dying and rezzing twice. I used the blast pack, and got back to the datacron while the elites killed my companion.
Then when I went to use the datacron it says “missions must be completed first” or something like that. Not sure what missions exactly.
Jason, this means you have a full mission inventory and need to delete a mission to collect the datacron. Datacrons are considered missions temporarily. I made this mistake on Balmorra and wasted some credits because i had to buy the key twice to unlock the datacron case.
Buzzkill is correct! At X:1126 Y:166 there is a series of easy to jump to stairs in the black rocks on the island itself. Why kill yourself repeatedly missing the jump to the lift? I have screen shots of the entire process as proof plus map coords. The Aim+4 datacron collection process should be revamped on this website because this is WAY easier and does’nt cause damage on a miss of the lift.
There IS actually another way you can get the aim datacron by the “island” it sits upon, using your mount go to the far side where you can see a step up on the rocks. Jump up and you land on the other one continue to jump again and your on the top part of the rock, run over and click datacron. Far easier than trying to jump carefully onto a moving lift.
For the Aim Datacron: while mounted on speeder, you can jump up on the eastside of the island. MUCH easier and no waiting for a stupid lift you might miss
Aim +4 Datacron requires you to have some quests done. Looks like the rogue assasin house quests cover this requirement.
I found a red Datacron that you do not have listed for Alderon. It is loacated on the Larantha Dam in the Kaamos Terrory. You can see it from the Rocks near location 1967,395. It appears that you have to get on top of the Dam to get to it but not sure.

This is for all who are trying to get the +Willpower Datacron. I am a type 3 body as well. I WAS able to get through the door using a technique I read previously.
1. Toggle ON your Autorun ability. Direct your body into the crack in the door.
2. Spam JUMP
3. Spam toggle your ABILITIES pane (p) or just click/toggle your abilities pane with your mouse.
4. Don’t be a retard and give up after 2 seconds. If you follow steps 1-3, you WILL ‘glitch’ yourself through the crack. Although, it may take a minute while you turn your character into the correct angle while following steps 2 and 3.

Confirmed. No need to wait for a dumb Damaged Lift. Possible to just jump on the cliffs from behind the island.
It is not necessary to take the broken lift for the aim + 4 datacron on Alderon. When attempting to get this datacron, I missed the jump to the lift, and decided to check to see if I could make it onto the island without using the lift.
I was able, on my level 50 speeder to jump onto a rock edge on the back left side (if you are facing the island from the lift platform) of the island. I was then able to make two jumps to get onto the island, and get the datacron.
