I find this really seriously wrong i sat at one of the fabled spawn spots for 4 hours with no spawn there has to be a trick
You can’t just sit there, you actually have to kill off the regular Grophets at the spawn points. It takes 2 – 4 rounds before the named Grophets spawn.

do you you have yo each get a grophet? Or can one person get it, then take a grp for the rest?
Alright, so after 2 hours of farming for these rare Grophets, I finally got all three discs. Each grophet must be killed, each datadisc is different. Took 2 hours of killing the lesser grophets for them to show up. Got the neural buff, got the scent buff. Got to the rock and could see the auras of the datacrons. clicked the big dumb rock and the tentacles popped out, but the datacrons were still not visible. Remembered reading about a glitch for cheating on these if someone else had gotten them recently. Sat down on the rock in the middle of the datacrons and waited for the timer on the anchored rock to reset. Fell through the rock and the datacrons became visible and clickable. Just zoom in, click and done.

Can confirm no steps are needed. hunted gophets for 3 hours got angry. went to the rock clicked on it. avoided tentacles then sat on the rock at the highest point (little south of the middle datacron) rock reset and i fell through. clicked all 4 datacrons. careful moving so as not to get pushed outside the rock.
