SWTOR Tundra and Mountain Tauntaun Mounts

Swtor Tauntaun Mounts came with Game Update 2.3: Titans of Industry. Tauntaun mounts can be acquired on planet Hoth. You can save money by farming Tauntaun Domestication Data, or simply buy Tauntaun Domestication Data from vendors or other players in order to exchange it for mounts.

Basic Information

• There are two Tauntaun mounts: Mountain Tauntaun and Tundra Tauntaun.
• Mountain Tauntaun costs 2 million credits or 20 Tauntaun Domestication Data.
• Tundra Tauntaun (subscribers only) costs 1.5 million credits or 15 Tauntaun Domestication Data.
• Tauntaun Domestication Data can be acquired by defeating Wampa Protectors, which show up after luring Taun Fawns from the nests, with a small chance of 20%.
• Tauntaun Domestiocation Data are not Binds on Pick Up and you can farm, buy or sell them.
• Tauntaun nests with three Taun Fawns can be found in Whiterock Wastes, Clabburn Tundra, and Icefall Plains.
• You can spot Tauntaun nests from the distance with macrobinoculars.
• Tauntaun Lure item can be bought from Animal Mount Vendor.
• Simply use Tauntaun Lure on each Taun Flawn until Wampa Protector shows up.
• Once used, Tauntaun Lure can not be used again on the same Taun Flawn for about 30-70 minutes. You can however change map instances, if there are more, and use it again on the same Tauntaun Flawns.
• You can find Tauntaun Animal Mount Vendor/Trainer and Tauntaun Subscriber Vendor/Trainer as Republic near entrance in Aurek Base – Command Bunker, as Empire outside of Dorn Base – Icefall Plains.
• Tauntaun Animal Mount Vendor sells:
  1. Mountain Tauntaun – 20 Tauntaun Domestication Data
  2. Tauntaun Domestication Data – 100 000 credits
  3. Tauntaun Lure – 500 credits
• Tauntaun Subscriber Vendor/Trainer sells:
  1. Tundra Tauntaun – 15 Tauntaun Domestication Data
