This Datacron is the most well-hidden on Ord Mantell, and after getting it, the easiest way back, that I found, was just to call a Shuttle.

This is, relatively, one of the easiest Datacrons to find. The only real “difficulty” is in going off-the-beaten-path, which, in itself, isn’t difficult in this area.

This Datacron is located at Savrip Island, on top of the central mountain. I saw someone get there from another direction, but this is how I did it:

These rocks look formidable, but you *can* jump onto them and scramble over. There are shorter rocks that form a stair-like effect.

    The red shard can easily be got to by just turning left after going across the water and following the beach around. No need for crazy falls.

      This. It was ridiculous taking any fall damage and I was annoyed that I realized it was just further down the road from the Razoronn Codex.

    for the shard you can run accross the water instead of jumping off the rails just go under the bridge makes it a lot easier

    To get the shard you don’t need to go into Mannet point and jump off the ledge – you can just run around the beech from the broken bridge

    there is an easier way to the red matirx datacron. From the journalist cross the water and follw the beach around to the left. To return retrace your path.

    its not necessary to jump of the landing for the red matrix shard. just run across the water
