It should be noted not to do this with less than 30k health as the one drop takes about 29k ish.

    • Comment by Joe made on April 19, 2013 at 2:00 am

damage sustained during falls is based on a percentage of your health I.E. if a level 15 player takes a fall of 150 damage the same fall would do 3000 damage to a level 50

    Hey mate,

Love all you do for the community so a big thank you :)!!

Now then maybe just me but I am pretty sure the 7th to last picture is out of place. there is avertical girder to your characters left. I think this screen shot should actually go in position #48 after the first “very tricky jump”. i will be trying this tonight so wish me luck :).

    And thanks again!!

The endurance datacron…what an absolutely diabolical ordeal, I’m done. I finally made it to the rising platform and missed the jump to the balcony and about smashed my keyboard.

  4. Comment by Goreamir made on April 21, 2013 at 11:12 am

Update: blood shooting out of my eyes, ears, mouth, and about every orifice available.
The “very tricky” jump got me after finally getting that far. After the ordeal you have to go through to get to that jump to the metal beam, there is no possible way to judge the landing, it is so long and awkward. I officially hate Bioware now with a white-hot passion. But then again, this is only 100 stinking health, so I’ll look at it that way…

    • Comment by Vaerah made on April 27, 2013 at 2:18 pm

Actually, the “ordeal jump” is not required at all, you are just doing your life needlessy hard with it.

All you have to do is to hop on speeder, place at the middle of that blueish cylinder (as shown in the walkthrough) and aim at max speed to the *pillar* just to the right of that beam. You’ll land at 1st or 2nd attempt and then can walk 2 steps and be on the beam.

This was a fun Datacron to get. I got it on the first try, no deaths. But I can see how someone would get angry & give up if they did die.

  6. Comment by bob made on May 12, 2013 at 3:09 pm

What a retarded idea of bioware, for this. And if you are an imp, you are miles away, if you die. If dosnt say when you are on the moving platform, if its the top or burrom platform you should go for

I keep attempting to get the +10 datacron but having some difficulties not sure if its a bug or what. Every time I jump from the platform to the balcony I fall right through the balcony as if it were not there at all. Has anyone else run into this? If so how do I get around it.

Hint: for assassins/shadows attempting this datacron, utilize phase walk on those tricky jumps. It will save you loads of time and frustration.

    • Comment by oomarceloo made on February 2, 2014 at 3:55 pm

Just got it, but it’s not showing in the codex logs “Planets/Makeb/Achievement: Datacrons 0/2? Though my endurance stat did go up. This a bug?

  9. Comment by Ant'ziel made on February 19, 2014 at 8:35 pm

Actually, the “very tricky jump” can be easily accomplished in a whole other way. When I tried it, I fell down even Before I could make the actual jump, as seen on the Picture you are standing on the corner of that beam to jump across to the metal pipe below. Well, when I fell from the original metal beam, I landed on the identlical beam below the one you are supposed to jump from, and thought that I was screwed. But then, on a whim, I continued and jumped instead for the stone wall/floor BELOW the actual metal pipe that you are suppsed to land at if ou accomplish the originated jump, and then I could see the datacron in the distance.

I am Sith Inquisitor, so I have the force speed ability, which can enhance my natural jumps while on foot, but I do Believe that this works for other classes as well. Unfortuanly I lack photo-evidence as this was something I did on a whim. But all I had to do was carefully rounding the stone platform, jump down to the metal grating/beams yet Another drop down, just follow the beam until I got to the datacron-balcony and jump down. You can clearly see the path you ahve to take by gazing in the direction of the datacron. EXTREMELY usefuul if you miss the “very tricky” jump.

Name is Ant’ziel and I am on The Red Eclipse server, give me a whisper if you need more explaining!

    • Comment by Nomphosumus made on March 12, 2016 at 10:55 pm

After 8 hours of frustration … I can say this guy got it right because the only way I could do it was as he describe. (Im Inquisitor as well) the last part is a LOT LESS hard if you dont make that almost imposible jump and you try from below to hit directly that “ground”.

  10. Comment by Glacini made on February 22, 2014 at 8:48 pm

I refuse to believe Bioware was the main culprit in this. I accuse EA Games instead!

For the presence datacron you note to start in the SW area, the coordinates given are clearly in the SE. FYI

So I have been stuck trying to get that very tricky jump. I have found if you type /stuck super fast while falling (that is if you miss) . You will die but you can rez on the floating platform if you have medical droids. This pretty handy since I have falling like ten times.

I love this site! it has helped me through all my datacron adventures!

  14. Comment by Joe made on September 19, 2014 at 8:01 am

This game’s jumping controls are too clunky and inconsistent. Makes the Endurance datacron a real pain in the fucking ass to get. Also makes me want to play LotRO where the jumping is more responsive and you can control your trajectory mid-flight. Why does a game 5 years older than swtor have smoother movement controls?

    • Comment by Joe made on September 19, 2014 at 8:09 am

lol. on my last attempt i got stuck and then ejected off the first bridge you have to cross. broken buggy bullshit

  15. Comment by Cyg made on April 12, 2015 at 4:23 am

The codex entry for the makeb +10 presence datacron is called “Galactic history 88: The Unlikely Champion”. Please update the site for this.

  16. Comment by ItsThatGuyAgain made on December 5, 2015 at 11:34 pm

Word of warning about the gold mobs on the path to the +10 Endurance datacron (as though it weren’t enough of a pain already): the gold mobs that appear every so often along the way have a knockback ability (because why wouldn’t they?). So if you can’t avoid them make sure you engage them with your back to the cliff wall.

  17. Comment by Mark B made on December 8, 2015 at 5:10 pm

The +10 Presence was a real bind until I found there is a slight workaround if you miss the last jump between the pipes. I found that if you miss getting onto the brown surface you’ll probably end up on a narrow shelf below the green pipe. If you move to the left along that shelf you will come to a cracked part of the larger brown pipe. By jumping up onto that crack you can then jump onto the top of that cracked part and then simply jump down to the inside.

  18. Comment by Thomas made on April 14, 2017 at 5:02 am

NO JUMPS NECESSARY. For all of us NON-MARIO BROS gamers, it should be noted that the “jumps” can be done with force speed runs to different locations. Like the beam, force speed run to the box to the right and you will NEVER fall and will land right on it. I tried forever, until I started thinking out of the box and tried different things. I have pics to post if the admins would like my screenies with diagrams.
