Their powerful wing muscles and internal air sacs allow them to stay aloft while carrying large amounts of weight, making them perfect aerial mounts. Early Alderaanian colonists made extensive use of thrantas, using them for personal and military transport.Their popularity on Alderaan generated an enormous demand for the animals on Coruscant; thousands of thrantas were transplanted, but they were unable to survive the city-world’s heavy air pollution. Since that debacle, the Alderaanians have refused to export the thrantas offworld and hunting them on Alderaan is strictly forbidden. This has only made thranta smuggling and thranta poaching more appealing in certain circles. |

I have clicked the thranta and it takes me to the datacron place, but im not getting credit for a codex on thranta. Am I doing something wrong here?

The system must have bugged, I had the codex already, but didnt indicate on the achievement planet page. Once I got my last beast codex it updated to 5/5

You can get this codex entry on Empire side as well but it will not count towards the Bestiary codex for Alderaan. For Imps it is a global codex entry not a planet one. I got 5/5 killing Vorn Tiger, Bolraida, Iraida, Manka Cat (getting their entries) and finding the Nerf entry by House Trader’s Cirlse .
