I really like the datacron riddles very much, but sorry – this one sucks.
I was standing exactly above the ledge, made a little step forward, and….. missed the ledge by 1 mm.
Now I shall walk back to the other end of the map, wait 20-30 minutes until the balloon comes back, another 30 minutes flight, just to have another try, for which you need luck? No!
Start point for this path is -2340, -5, 465
Balloon now holds for a few seconds at the first sandcrawler.
The ride takes 25 mins.
Return trip takes 20 mins.

I agree with Jochen Keitel, this is the most ridiculously long datacron to get…the balloon flies so slow…come on !
