Vicious Rift Acklay (gold) in the Southwest of HighSec does not give the codex. As with others, I got it from the silver Tamed Acklay Ravager in the Northeast.
I got this off a Tamed Acklay Ravager which was walking back and forth on a short dirt path at -437, 204, 233 (x, y, z). It is a Strong level mob as someone else suggested, however the Vicious ones I found more out in the wild did not give credit.
Confirmed. Any of the Tamed Acklay Ravagers lvl 41-42 will give the codex.
Just killed several dozen of these and still haven’t gotten the codex, might be bugged.
