Companion Appearance Customization guide with screenshots of different customizations (Work in Progress).

C2-N2 is a Protocol Droid that comes with your spaceship, that you acquire once you finish your class quests on Coruscant. You can take him to combat like you would any other companion, but remember that he can not carry any weapons and that his primary role is to heal. His healing can actually be good enough if you equip him with some armor. He can craft like any other companion and since patch 1.2 receives gifts so you can improve your standing with him and hence his crafting times and crits.

I’ve found that C2 gives more affection from Republic Memorabilia than he does from Technology. example: rank 2 RM gave +27, while rank 2 Tech gave +24…both gifts were green.

edit: they were rank 1 gifts not rank 2

It can wield a blaster pistol.

C2 is also a great little off-healer, and isn’t too bad at all with that blaster pistol if you give him a good one. I use him mostly when I’m “shadowing” low-level guildmates through missions they’re having trouble with. He does s decent job of not letting them die. Sometimes I even take away his gun just to see him leap at an opponent and punch it to death! (Try it sometime, it’s hilarious!)
