The Relics of the Gree in-game event returns between March 12, 2013 and March 26, 2013, giving players another chance to earn valuable Reputation points and acquire exclusive rewards, including the newly added “Blue Sphere” speeder. The Blue Sphere mount requires Legend Standing with The Gree Enclave, along with Speeder Piloting Rank 3. At this moment the speeder is Bind on Pickup and after the patch patch 1.7.3 it will be Bind on Legacy as intended.

Stepping in to confirm that this is absolutely not intended. We’ve added the following to the Known Issues:
The Blue Sphere Reputation Reward for the Gree Enclave is currently Bind on Pickup rather than Bind on Legacy as intended.
We apologize for any confusion. This should be fixed with patch 1.7.3, but please remember that any time we give an estimate like that, testing could change things. If this happens, we’ll be sure to let you know.
