SWTOR 2.0 PTS Level 450 Crafting

I have been completely boggled by the fact that Bioware has not posted any information in the official SWTOR 2.0 PTS Patch Notes about changes to the crafting system. I spotted on reddit an interesting post started by Icmoigigan which I believe will be extremely interesting to all SWTOR community members, thus, I decided to share it with you.

General:

  • Grade 9 is the new top tier material level for mission/gathering skills 450 is the new skill max rank
  • Exotic Element equalizer is a new grade 10 exotic crafting material (blue)
  • Mass manipulation Generator is a new grade 10 exotic crafting material (purple)


Armormech:

  • Green version of grade 23 & 26 augments (24 and 25 seem to be missing are available from the trainer.
  • Augment kit mk 7-9 recipes are available from the trainer
  • Level 50+ green/blue recipes can be obtained from the vendor (chest, pants, boots, etc.)
  • Schematics for moddable belets/bracers at 450 level are available from the Basic vendor WITH mod/armoring included
  • There is a listed RE chance of 10% for every slot piece of Elite armormech type gear (bracer, belt, boots chest etc.) This appears to be not working or unintended since in my ~50 RE attempts no recipes were learned. (maybe I’m just unlucky)
  • UNLIKE synthweaving there appear to be no new shell schemetatics… ?


Armstech:

  • Moddable armstech offhand schematics are available from the Basic gear vendor (offhand blasters, shotguns and presumably vibroknives on imp)
  • Elite barrels such as ‘Skill Barrel 30’ can be REed and learned.
  • There are lvl 54 main/offhand shells available from the armstech trainer
  • Augment schematics are available in the varieties of mk. 5,6, 7, 8, 9 from the armstech skill trainer
  • Grade 23 & 26 green augment schematics are available from the armstech trainer


Artifice:

  • Schemetics for level 450 (Basic) moddable offhands (generators/foci) are available from the basic vendor
  • Enhancements from elite gear have a 10% RE chance, I was able to learn an artful mod 30 rather quickly which required 4 of the blues and a purple along with mundane mats to craft.
  • Grade 25 & 28 green enhancements & hilts are available from the artifice trainer
  • Level 54 green offhands are available from the artifice trainer
  • Level 54 orange lightsaber shells are available from the artifice trainer
  • Hilts can be REed from the new elite gear for schematics


Biochem:

  • Schemetics for 450 level (basic) implants are available from basic gear vendors
  • Although Elite implants display a 10% schematic chance a ‘No research available message pops up upon RE, not sure if this is intended.
  • Level 52 Blue adrenals are available from the biochem skill trainer
  • Level 54 green implants are available from the biochem skill trainer
  • Level 52 green medpacs & stims are available from the biochem skill trainer


Cybertech:

  • Schematics for level 450 (basic) earpieces are available from the basic vendors
  • Mods, armoring and earpieces from the Elite vendor are REable, I was able to learn an artful mod 30 rather quickly which required 4 of the blues and a purple along with mundane mats to craft.
  • Green 25 & 28 armorings & mods are available from the cybertech trainer, 23, 24, 26 & 27 appear to be missing
  • Green level 54 droid parts are available from the cybertech trainer
  • Green level 54 earpieces are available from the cybertech trainer
  • Blue level 54 grenades are available from the cybertech trainer


Synthweaving:

  • Green version of grade 23 & 26 augments (24 and 25 seem to be missing are available from the trainer.
  • Augment kit mk 5-9 recipes are available from the synthweaving trainer
  • Level 50+ green/blue recipes can be obtained from the vendor (chest, pants, boots, etc.)
  • Schematics for moddable belts/bracers at 450 level are available from the Basic vendor WITH mod/armoring included
  • There is a listed RE chance of 10% for every slot piece of Elite synthweaving type gear (bracer, belt, boots chest etc.) This appears to be not working or unintended since in my ~50 RE attempts no recipes were learned. (maybe I’m just unlucky)
  • There are new orange shells in the 52-54 level range

    I have my biochem raised to 405, but i can’t find any new recipes available
